The HP 25567B LAN alternative
In the HP new and used market the 25567B (25567-60003) HP EISA LAN AUI / ThinLAN interface card has become a high
demand and short supply item. There is no direct HP replacement for this product but there are some work-around options.
Option #1:
This option is primarily used in the Symphony Maestro Industrial UX control system (WSR 01), also used in the Contronic
E, Melody, and Freelance 2000 subordinate automation systems.
Option #1 – A: This option replicates the AP011 25567B EISA LAN Module that enables the IEEE802.3 Ethernet AUI / 15-pole
D-Sub socket connector to break out to a RJ45 / EtherTwist connection.

Option #1 – B: This option replicates the AP002 25567B EISA LAN Module that enables the IEEE802.3 10Base2 / ThinLAN / BNC

Option #1 – C: This option allows the 25567B EISA LAN Module that enables the IEEE802.3 Ethernet AUI / 15-pole D-Sub socket connector to break out to a Fiber-Optic connection.

Allows a HP 700 series HP-UX workstation to have two independent 9000 IEEE802.5 (10Base2, EtherTwist, or Fiber-Optic) LAN
